Futatsumata’s design philosophy is evident in the sleek and practical form of the machine. To enhance portability, the internal configurations have been ingeniously redesigned, with the heater relocated to the bottom for optimal weight balance. Weighing a mere 3.4kg (7.5 lbs), this coffee machine is a lightweight companion that can effortlessly travel with you. The inclusion of a large handle adds to its ease of use, making it a breeze to carry the machine to your preferred brewing location.

The coffee machine doesn’t just prioritize functionality; it also boasts a modern style. The slender handle, positioned above the LCD panel, not only facilitates easy carrying but also allows ample light to illuminate the controls. Horizontal piping contributes not only to the minimalist design but also enhances the tactile feel of the lid and removable parts, creating a seamless user experience.

Of course, each one we come across, from day to day, has the bases covered, but then some surpass the obvious and leave you in awe: a desire propagates and you keep looking on. The Vast travel trailer is an embodiment of this kind, with its striking green exterior and an interior you don’t want to get out of.

Designed and developed by SylvanSport, the Vast travel trailer is meant for those who like more from the basics. At first gawk, the trailer is not more than a metallic green block for the eyes to behold, but when you take it out for a spin, this guy can transform into an interesting camper of choices to add and transform.

And when we say that, we mean it for the umpteen facilities it packs within, which includes a ceiling retractable bed, converting sofa, and a very interesting slide-out kitchen. This may just intrigue a few, but the trailer becomes a wonder for all enthusiasts’ interest at a campsite where the awning effortlessly stretches out and the rooftop solar panels do their bit of storing energy for the night.

Within the Vast travel trailer, there are two actual queen-size beds. One hides in the ceiling until you need at: It slides down on its motorized lift system on call. Right underneath is the living area featuring an L-shaped sofa with a folding table. When you are out camping with a couple of friends, the sofa backrests can slide down flat to give you an additional bed.

The fascinating part of the living space is the modularity it exhibits in that, you can shift the seating front and back on its tracks to create a garage space in the rear for your bike. The access is through the tailgate and interestingly, despite this readjustment, the living space remains functional.

Coming to the culinary requirements: the kitchen is designed to slide out of the body into a full-fledged option on the road. It comes equipped with a wooden prep area, a 2 burner gas stove, foldable sink, drawers for storage, microwave oven and a portable fridge. While on the outside, there are a few more fascinations for the gear junkies. You have, on the driver’s side, mounts for kayaks and other items, and a 510-liter storage section, which hides behind it the batteries, propane tank and a spare tire. With all the features mentioned, SylvanSport has priced the Vast travel trailer at $49,995.

I love a good tiny home! They are a space-saving and eco-friendly living solution that reduces the load on Mother Earth. They’re simple and minimal alternatives to the imposing, materialistic dwellings that seem to have taken over. And they’re also notable for their ability and gift to maximize the use of limited space. And this compact yet versatile tiny home by France’s Baluchon ticks a whole lot of boxes for me!

Called Browny, this adorable-looking tiny home is a tiny home that ranks high on versatility, as it manages to accommodate a home office, exercise area, and a guest bedroom all within a length of 6 meters. The home was commissioned by a client who had been working from home for nine years in a rather awkward and uncomfortable home office and wanted a much better space to work in.

• Functions as an excellent home office
• Features integrated storage space

Cons:

• Lacks a proper kitchen and bathroom
• The home isn’t suitable to live full-time

Browny is installed in Loire-Atlantique, western France to offer the homeowner an improved space to work and live in. Founded on a double-axle trailer and finished in red cedar accentuated by aluminum accenting and a roof, Browny is one good-looking tiny home. It has been equipped with an ample amount of glazing to maximize the natural light within. The entrance is sheltered by a removable wooden awning.

Although the Browny has a great working space, it does lack a proper kitchen and bathroom, but this also provides for a generous amount of floor space, making the home feel quite open and spacious. So, the downstairs section of the home is quite airy and comfortable and is finished in spruce with a solid oak floor, which creates a welcoming and warm aura inside. As you enter the home, you’ll be surprised to find an area for exercising, in place of a living room. This space holds a treadmill and an electric heater for warming up the space in the winter.  A dining area with a coffee machine, cabinetry, and a drop-down table is also located here.

The majority of the home office is located behind a dividing wall, and it includes a desk, multiple-monitor setup, and more glazing. The bedroom is a cozy space for the homeowner to take a midday nap in, or to host guests. You can access the bedroom via a storage-integrated staircase, and it has a relatively low ceiling and a double bed – features that are quite typical of a tiny home.
