Motorcycle riding on monster wheels is a Batcycle on steroid ready to steamroll anything that lies ahead

If ever the Gotham City vigilante desired for an upgrade to the Batcycle (or Batpod if I may) this would be it. The crazy DIY project by a bunch of friends from North Idaho, who’ve built unique automotive projects in the past, is something that’ll spark your instinct for dominance.

Starting their journey with hobby builds on YouTube, the dudes have now amassed millions of views courtesy of their out-of-the-box creations. Their previous builds include the world’s fastest snow bike, 100 HP jet boat, off-road Tesla Model 3 and a crazy fast shopping trolley.

Designer: Grind Hard Plumbing

Their latest exploration is a monstrous bike that looks like the love child of a monster bike and a powerful motorcycle. The power on this one comes from a KTM 1190 Adventure V-twin motor, riding on 46-inch monster truck wheels fitted with mud tires and actuated by a hydraulic steering wheel. Everything on this naked machine is kept together with a stellar trellis frame and those gigantic tires turn as intended (with some effort in standing position) with the pair of single-sided swingarms suspended from the wheels.

Label it as a Batcycle or maybe a Mad Max-style apocalyptic two-wheeler, the machine is built purely for entertainment purposes by the crazy pals. For that, the lay-back position of the chopper makes sure you don’t flex any muscles unwantedly to land in trouble with painful cramps. Turning this monster is not going to be something usual due to the huge size of the front wheel, so the team fitted it with a hydraulic steering system and a drive piston controlled by the handlebar to provide the needed leverage. Even with this assist, the bike seems like a handful while turning!

If you notice closely there is a certain lag from the time when the steering is turned and the wheels actually turn. A gamer would instantly refer to that as latency in the real world. From what we see, the machine is darn hard to control and maybe with some more subtle additions and tweaking it’ll get close to a normal motorcycle. Of course, the project is ongoing and we’re eager to see the monster chopper in action someday with silky smooth steering input and control mechanism.

This four-wheeled futuristic electric-hydrogen hybrid bike actually rides on two wheels

Just look at this two-wheeled ride that’s a mashup of a funky electric bike, an electric car and a space capsule. Electric four-wheeler I say because it has four sets of wheels – two at the front and two at the back in close proximity. Something akin to the wheel configurations of a truck’s rear wheels.

Here the hubless wheels provide extra stability on the tarmac and also help in the cornering speed of the bike. They have an independent wishbone suspension system for each of the wheels that further helps in the stability. The whole setup of Karver Cyle Concept K1 is tuned for performance-oriented travel on freeways and metropolis.

Designer: Kip Kubisz

The secure cabin surrounded by panoramic glass panels gives the rider 180-degree freedom of viewing. Step inside and you have a sporty and ergonomic seating configuration tailored for speed. That F1 steering wheel-like configuration has a much-simplified interface to show all the vital telemetry. Beyond it lies the stylish dashboard showing the current speed, electric motor heat levels and other vital driving data.

The K1 concept is propelled forward by a hybrid electric–hydrogen motor churning out loads of torque. This gives the vehicle top-notch acceleration from a standing position. However, don’t expect it to break any land speed records. Fins on both the rear ends provide aerodynamic stability and keep it glued to the road for maximum traction. Such is the stance of the bike that provides one with maximum confidence to put the foot to the metal.

At heart the Karver Cyle Concept K1 is a sports car given its exhaust design and the flowing, aerodynamic shape – but it is a two-wheeler. One can say it gets the best of both worlds – the secure housing of a car with the thrill of a bike.

The Shane is a striking two-wheeled electric car that looks like a bumped up hoverboard with humungous wheels

In a world where tech innovations continue to shape our future, Shane Chen, the inventor of the Hoverboard, has unveiled his latest creation. Dubbed “The Shane” this two-wheeled electric car concept is set to redefine mobility and revolutionize our urban transportation landscape.

The Shane was officially unveiled today, creating an instant buzz for the radical approach in design. It is crafted to accommodate four passengers and this concept car is nothing like anything seen before with a humungous wheel proportion compared to the body.

Designer: Inventist

Chen’s exciting journey in designing the blueprints of the vehicle began with the idea of merging the agility of a two-wheeled vehicle with the practicality of a car. His innovation combines the compact nature of an electric scooter with the convenience of a four-wheeler, offering a unique solution to urban congestion and environmental concerns. By the look of things, there is no steering column in the vehicle, and directional changes are made by altering the speed at which both individual wheels rotate. These wheels can rotate in place allowing for immaculate parallel parking skills.

The vehicle’s design showcases the perfect balance of form and function. Its sleek, futuristic exterior makes a bold statement, while the interior is designed to offer comfort and style to its passengers. The Shane not only embraces cutting-edge technology but also takes aesthetics pretty darn seriously.

One of the key features of this concept car is its eco-friendly credentials. Operating solely on electricity, “The Shane” aligns with the growing trend toward sustainable transportation. With zero emissions and an efficient electric powertrain, it presents a compelling solution for environmentally conscious individuals. The adaptability of this uniquely shaped vehicle is another notable feature. Its compact size allows for easy maneuverability through congested urban streets. The vehicle can be charged quickly, making it a practical choice for everyday commuting.

Shane Chen’s creation will attract the attention of experts and enthusiasts alike, with its potential to transform the way we navigate our cities. It provides a glimpse into the future of urban mobility, emphasizing sustainability, innovation, and efficiency. This two-wheeled electric car concept serves as a reminder of the power of design and technology in addressing the most pressing issues of our time.

After triangle and square wheels, The Q replaces bicycle wheels with treads while keeping it slightly safer

We love our bikes; we keep them well-serviced and tires well-maintained so that they can roll smoothly. Yes, roll so that riding is effortless! But we have seen it enough times now that Sergii Gordieiev aka The Q on YouTube, doesn’t like the idea of smoothness. His recklessly creative engineering brain doesn’t like sitting on wheels as the world loves them – he prefers them oddly shaped or as treads so he could someday run over a tank with his bicycle.

Before I go crazy, and you think I’m making no sense, check out his bike with triangle-shaped wheels or this one with square wheels. This time the idea is not so much about wheel oddity, but he has replaced the concept of wheels for treads. They are laid straight on the ground, so safety is still a little at the back of Sergii’s mind this time.

Designer: Sergii Gordieiev

To create this ingenious contraption, of course, he had to work his way up from scratch. So, the handlebars, seat, and frame have all been assembled to fit in the other unusual elements of this custom bike. The body itself is a little away from the usual with a lower profile at the rear than the front fork.

This profile aligns the handlebar with the cushioned seat making the bike comfortable to ride, but with those treads to move, I’m still unsure how comfortable it would be. But Sergii can take it for a short spin around the city, so could you, if you could make it up from the video tutorial.

The most captivating aspect of the custom bike is the giant disc with paddles on either side. This is the heart of the bike that has the bicycle chain circulating around it and attached to the rear tread. Even though we can’t see the chain attached to the tread on the front, yet it rolls continuously in harmony for a stable ride.

This mini washing machine is perfect for avid travelers and house on wheels fanatics

The nomadic lifestyle made popular by trending RVs, tiny house on wheels and trailers has prompted travelers to fancy accessories and appliances that are portable. The same goes for people who have to travel frequently for business meetings or family vacations.

Having a portable washing machine comes in very handy on such trips and there are plenty out there to choose from. However, finding the one that is practical, safe for the environment and does the task of cleaning as intended is hard to find. That’s where this concept piques my interest profoundly.

Designer: PQP Design

The convenient little washing machine is a perfect washer for apartments, condos, motor homes, RVs, camping and any other place that doesn’t particularly permit the use of a full-sized washing machine. The freedom of washing clothes whenever and wherever you want is of value especially when you cannot afford to use a limitless amount of water for the task.

The foldable and lightweight form factor of the appliance makes it well-suited to carry in your suitcase or even a backpack. The Mini Foldable Washing Machine uses the unique technology of sending out vibrations to remove dirt effectively without wasting water or using much electricity. It works on stored electricity in the on-board battery that can be charged via the USB-C connector.

Since the waster tub size is smaller than conventional washing machines, this one is suited for light clothes, towels, and undergarments. Don’t expect to wash any bulky clothing items like down jackets or heavy sweaters in this portable washer. Apart from this limitation, the mini washing machine is perfect for bachelors, travelers and people who live a minimalistic lifestyle.

Versatile Tiny Home Browny Is The Ultimate Home Office On Wheels For Remote Workers

I love a good tiny home! They are a space-saving and eco-friendly living solution that reduces the load on Mother Earth. They’re simple and minimal alternatives to the imposing, materialistic dwellings that seem to have taken over. And they’re also notable for their ability and gift to maximize the use of limited space. And this compact yet versatile tiny home by France’s Baluchon ticks a whole lot of boxes for me!

Called Browny, this adorable-looking tiny home is a tiny home that ranks high on versatility, as it manages to accommodate a home office, exercise area, and a guest bedroom all within a length of 6 meters. The home was commissioned by a client who had been working from home for nine years in a rather awkward and uncomfortable home office and wanted a much better space to work in.

Pros:

  • Squeezes in a bunch of amenities in a small space
  • Functions as an excellent home office
  • Features integrated storage space

Cons:

  • Lacks a proper kitchen and bathroom
  • The home isn’t suitable to live full-time

Designer: Baluchon

Browny is installed in Loire-Atlantique, western France to offer the homeowner an improved space to work and live in. Founded on a double-axle trailer and finished in red cedar accentuated by aluminum accenting and a roof, Browny is one good-looking tiny home. It has been equipped with an ample amount of glazing to maximize the natural light within. The entrance is sheltered by a removable wooden awning.

Although the Browny has a great working space, it does lack a proper kitchen and bathroom, but this also provides for a generous amount of floor space, making the home feel quite open and spacious. So, the downstairs section of the home is quite airy and comfortable and is finished in spruce with a solid oak floor, which creates a welcoming and warm aura inside. As you enter the home, you’ll be surprised to find an area for exercising, in place of a living room. This space holds a treadmill and an electric heater for warming up the space in the winter.  A dining area with a coffee machine, cabinetry, and a drop-down table is also located here.

The majority of the home office is located behind a dividing wall, and it includes a desk, multiple-monitor setup, and more glazing. The bedroom is a cozy space for the homeowner to take a midday nap in, or to host guests. You can access the bedroom via a storage-integrated staircase, and it has a relatively low ceiling and a double bed – features that are quite typical of a tiny home.
